faculty with studentAccording to the McKinsey Global Institute (MGI), the United States faces a shortage of 1.5 million managers and analysts with deep analytical and technical skills to ask the right questions, consume the results, and provide creative solutions.  Executive Education will help close that gap.

Driven be the idea that data analysis is a key competency for today's leaders, the Data Science Initiative at UNC Charlotte leverages faculty from across the university to develop custom programs that deliver immediate impact.

By partnering with UNC Charlotte's Executive Education program, executives will:

  • Gain experience and exposure to the new horizon of data analysis, and what it can do to expand their expertise.
  • Advance a broad knowledge of data analysis, applicable to a range of business sectors and applications, based on an interdisciplinary approach.

The Data Science Initiative at UNC Charlotte offers an interdisciplinary, modular curriculum from the Belk College of Business and the College of Computing and Informatics, in collaboration with other colleges, including the College of Health and Human Services and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. With this integrated approach, we offer a powerful resource for local businesses.
